However, for applications requiring extreme precision (scientific research, engineering, medical dosing), we recommend verifying with official standards or specialized tools.

Yes! Quick Unit Converters is a Progressive Web App (PWA). You can install it on your device (phone, tablet, or computer) and use it offline. Simply click the install prompt in your browser or add it to your home screen on mobile devices.

We currently offer six categories of unit conversions:

Click the sun/moon icon in the top navigation bar to toggle between light and dark modes. Your preference will be saved automatically and remembered for future visits.

Each converter page shows your recent conversions in a history section. This makes it easy to reference previous calculations without having to re-enter values. The history is stored locally on your device and can be cleared at any time.

After performing a conversion, click the "Copy" button next to the result. The value will be copied to your clipboard and you'll see a confirmation message. You can then paste it anywhere you need.

The US gallon (3.785 liters) and Imperial gallon (4.546 liters) are different measurements. The US customary system was established before the British Imperial system was standardized in 1824. Our volume converter includes both so you can convert accurately depending on your needs.

Technically, mass (measured in kilograms) is the amount of matter in an object, while weight is the force of gravity on that mass. However, in everyday use and on Earth's surface, they're often used interchangeably. Our "Weight" converter handles both mass and weight units for practical purposes.
